Hi everone.
My husband and I adopted a kitten about a year ago in Vancouver, B.C.

She has been healthy kitten until now, but a toy I purchased recently for my cat caused a nearly fatal problem.

I feel that I am responsible to share my story with all cat lovers and owners.

The toy is called ”ORKA kat Wiggle Worm” and the package says:

* Great chew toy infused with catnip for immediate chew appeal
* Textured surface helps promote dental health as bumps massage gums while kitty chews
* Floppy shape adds movement and is fun to carry

However, this rubber like toy is very easy to be chewed off by kitten or cats, and cats can accidentally or not, swallow pieces of this.

I was in Louisiana. I had just lost my beloved cat of 19 years and was in mourning. I had a large, large yard... about the size of a football field with a 4-foot chain link fence. For 5 months I was feeding 3 feral cats, one mother cat and her two babies. I had been trying unsuccessfully to capture them to take them to vets and a no-kill facility to be adopted.

One lovely summer afternoon, I was sitting in a chair in my yard reading when one of the little ones, a tiny little thing, began to climb the fence! I was stunned. I watched as she struggled to get over the huge fence, falling down several times until she reached the top and fell over on my side of the fence.

We have finally got our cat back today. He left about a week and a half ago, with no collar or anything. We have looked everywhere , all shelters and such, and almost gave up, but finally today he came back. We were so excited.

Story goes short, but I think he left because he got really mad at us, the thing is we got a puppy , and ever since then the cat started acting strange, he would go downstairs and cry and things like that.

But I think he already forgave us since he came back, I am determined to provide him the best care and love him.

My message would be - to the people who lost their little ones, don't give up searching and do everything possible, because you never now when they come back or be found.
