Hi there!
This is my first time here and I am glad to have found a site where I can chat with other dog lovers.
We have an English Bulldog puppy named Bobby McGee (like the song); he was born on July 17th, 2008. He had a bit of a rough start to this life because he came to us with kennel cough that progressed to pneumonia. We gave him anti-biotics for approximately 6 weeks. He's a really tough little guy though; he was as playful as ever and never reduced the quantity of food he ate. That must explain why he has gone from 6 lbs 12 ozs when we brought him home in September to 24 lbs as of last Thursday.
I would like to hear from any and all dog lovers; especially bully owners as this is my first.

Oh what a cute boy! I can't resist those sweet little cheeks. I'm not a bully owner but I love all dogs. Thanks for posting his picture!

When I fist met my second husband in 2001, he told me he would love to own a bully again some day (he previously owned two - before my time - but they had to be put down at 7 years old). My reply to him (having never seen one in person) was 'no way will we have a bully!
So two years ago, he brought me to visit a breeder and I fell in love! This year we decided it was as good a time as any to start looking for the 'perfect' bully for us.
Because there are only three of us in the office - my hubbie, his daughter and myself - we bring Bobby to work with us everyday. We would not have bought one if we couldn't do that because these dogs crave to be around people all the time.
