travelling with Rue the Choc. Lab.

Hello.

I am new to this site, but am doing some research on travelling in the BC/Queen Charlotte Island area with a Dog. We are planning on travelling with a tent trailer and just enjoying good food, wine and people. Wondering, as I do not know the area, if anyone has any suggestions or experiences they can share as to where might be a good place to go. Off leash areas that are accessible so that she does not have to be on leash all the time. Wooded areas that are maybe known to be safer for dogs.. if any? Again, open to all and any suggestions. We are hoping to travel later in the summer maybe as late as early September.
