Pet-Friendly Rental

By angelad - Posted on 19 July 2010

Hi all,
My puppy and I just moved to Richmond Hill, Ontario while I a look for a place to rent. l found this cute apartment in Toronto, downtown around Broadview & Danforth. I've looked hi and lo but can't seem to find info on whether or not it is pet-friendly. I've never rented before...if a building doesn't say they are pet-friendly, does it mean they are definitely not?
Thanks,
Angela.

Hi Angela. Some buildings will allow pets at the building manager's discretion. The only way to find out if your dog is allowed is to call and ask (I see there's a phone number on that listing). Make sure that if they say yes, then it's part of your written rental agreement. Check out http://www.petfriendlyrentals.ca for tips for renting with pets.
