Surrendering a Pet to a Shelter vs. Euthanasia
Can't find a Home for Cats! What would you do shelter or euthanize?
I have 4 cats that I have had for 4 to 5 years. things have gotten really bad at home and now I have to find them homes which i have not had any luck at, at all. so I have only few more weeks to find them homes. I am afraid i am not going to be able to make it happen therefore I will be forced to take them to the shelter where i know they will be tramatized and then eventually will be put down there at the shelter because the chance are very slim they will get home. Therefore do i go ahead and find a place to euthanize them so they will not have to go the to torture of experince of that. I am heart broken and devastated. And don't know what is right?? Please o Please and advice???

There must be other options! I don't know your situation but surely there is someone who will adopt your cats or who will take care of them temporarily until you are in a position to get them back. Do you have friends or family who can care for them for a while? Have you tried finding an adopter (permanent or temporary) at Craigslist? The website is craigslist.org. Have you tried local rescue groups? Can you ask around to see who else may be able to help you? I have a cat of my own and I cannot imagine giving her up for anything. I hope you are able to find a solution that doesn't involve giving them up for euthanisation.
