your story reminds me so much of how my dog kramer passed. He died with me petting his chest June 11,2008. There is a story about his final moments and his special gift to me on here a few pages back. He was and always will be my gaurdian angel, I recently went to a pet adoption fair in tampa and found my new dog Otis. when i first laid eyes on the new puppy I saw my kramers face hanging in the air over him and new that kramer was still here. My kramer and I went through everything together, from school to job changes to self-exploration and the general life changing that a guy goes through, he was always the most understanding and sensitive guy you could know. He was my strong shoulder to lean on always without question, I never will be able to replace him. In your story you made mention of the song "Chasing Cars" and that song is the song of me and my partner,I never put the words to my kramers life (or death) but it brought a serious tear to my eye, thank you.
